Job Description:
Summary:
This position is responsible for assisting with the accounting for
Inventory and Job Costing. This role will report to the accounting
team manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage transactions related to Inventory and Job Costing while
supporting month-end OPA close.
- Prepare monthly journal entries and supporting schedules.
- Prepare account reconciliations and resolve any variances in a
timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with team members from other functional
areas as well as external sources.
- Comply with internal controls and best practices.
- Initiate process improvements to increase efficiency of
financial close and accuracy of financial accounts.
- Support the financial reporting team as needed for preparation
of Form 10-Q, 10-K, and other filings as needed.
- Provide information as needed to internal and external
auditors.
- Support special projects as needed.

Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or another
business-related field.
- Master's degree in accounting or MBA.
- CPA certification (preferred).
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or related field.
- Experience with Inventory and Job Costing (preferred).
- Must be organized and detail oriented, possess a systems
background, be flexible, able to work independently, have good oral
and written communication skills, and have worked in a medium to
large corporate environment.
- Understand accounting concepts and have ability to apply
them.
- Comfortable with and able to utilize computer technology;
strong Microsoft Excel user.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive and respond in a fast-paced
environment.
- Analytical thinking skills.
- Experience with ERP ledgers systems preferred (Oracle).
Location:
This role requires you to be onsite at our headquarters in Boca
Raton, FL, three days a week. The other two days are remote,
offering the flexibility you need while still engaging in
meaningful collaboration with cross-functional teams.
