Experience) Courtyard Coconut Grove Position Overview: We are
seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor with a
strong background in hotel operations. The ideal candidate will
lead our maintenance team in ensuring that all systems and
facilities are efficiently and effectively maintained. This role is
crucial in upholding the quality and functionality of our hotel
services. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee and coordinate all
maintenance activities within the hotel, including electrical,
plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs. - Lead and mentor a team of
maintenance technicians, fostering an environment of teamwork and
continuous improvement. - Develop and implement proactive
maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure all equipment
operates effectively. - Respond promptly to maintenance requests
from staff and guests, ensuring timely and efficient service. -
Inspect facilities regularly to identify problems and necessary
maintenance repairs. - Maintain records of all maintenance
activities, including repairs, parts used, and hours worked. -
Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and
maintenance work as needed. - Manage the maintenance budget,
control costs, and recommend improvements to increase efficiency. -
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain
safety protocols for the maintenance team. Qualifications: - Proven
experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role,
specifically within the hospitality industry. - Strong
understanding of maintenance procedures, systems, and equipment,
with technical proficiency in areas such as HVAC, plumbing, and
electrical work. - Excellent leadership skills and ability to
motivate a team. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to
detail. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. -
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as
needed. - Certification in a relevant technical field is a plus.
