ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology
Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1 years speech-language
pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. This full-time role is ideal
for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) seeking
to make an impactful contribution within the school setting.
Located in Lehigh Acres, FL, the position involves providing direct
SLPA services on-site at multiple elementary schools in the area,
supporting a caseload of approximately 50-55 students ranging in
age according to the elementary level. Key Responsibilities: -
Deliver speech therapy assistance under the supervision of a
certified Speech Language Pathologist. - Serve students across two
primary locations: Harns Marsh Elementary (2 days/week) and Mirror
Lakes Elementary (1 day/week). - Maintain accurate and up-to-date
documentation of therapy sessions and student progress. -
Collaborate effectively with educators, therapists, and families to
support individualized student goals. - Adhere to all school
district policies and state regulations. Qualifications and
Experience: - Active Florida Department of Health SLPA license is
required. - Experience working as an SLPA within a school
environment is preferred. - Ability to manage a full caseload of
50-55 students adeptly. - Previous fingerprinting completed through
AHCA Clearinghouse or willingness to complete required
fingerprinting and obtain a JLA badge. - Strong communication
skills and a collaborative mindset. Position Details: - Location:
Fort Myers, FL (serving multiple elementary school sites). -
Contract term: ASAP start through June 1, 2026. - Work schedule: Up
to 37.5 hours per week, on-site only. - This role supports a
well-established contract with the local school district. Joining
